This workshop offers a comprehensive variety of methods that encompasses various aspects in the research of mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases. This workshop aims to teach all interested parties the basic techniques, preparing them to pursue their own experiments and contribute to scientific advancement in the field.

We offer two Workshop Method Routes: Myocardial Infarction or Vascular. You may select your preferred route, based on your interests as well as your research/experiments. 
Research staff in the research field of cardiovascular diseases. Namely: Clinical doctors, post-doctoral research fellows, veterinarians, biologists or students, that wish to acquire skill sets so that they may return to their own laboratory and perform their own experiments.

We welcome all from any country that are interested in attending. Please indicate your country of origin upon registration. 

Do note that this workshop will be conducted in English.
The full-course workshop spans for a duration of 5 days, that will encompass all the various comprehensive methods. Fees for the full-course workshop will be at SGD $8000 (inclusive of 9% GST).

Full-Course Workshop Fees for either Workshop Method Route would include:
1. Hotel accommodation and breakfast
2. A complete set of micro-surgical tools
3. Lunch and Coffee/Tea Breaks provided throughout the workshop duration.
4. A social evening with networking opportunities with affiliated esteemed Professors.  
Workshop program consists of a total of 8 hours of lectures with 30 hours of practical exercises will be conducted. The principles will be explained in the lectures and procedures will be presented via readily available video recordings and demonstrations.

​The workshop provides two routes of methods: ​Myocardial Infarction and Vascular. Participants will be able to select which route best suits their needs for their own research and experiments.

Lectures will be conducted by Prof Elisa Liehn (Principal Investigator, National Heart Center, Singapore).

Practical exercises will be conducted by Prof Elisa Liehn and Dr Sauri Hernandez (Principal Research Scientist, Duke-NUS).
Each method workshop will require a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 6 participants.

Participants who have selected the same Workshop Method Route will be grouped together. Participants will be notified on the workshop commencement period upon confirmation.
Workshop will be held at the Singhealth Experimental Medical Center (SEMC), Singapore.


Unfortunately, flight and accommodation will not be provided. 

Participants from overseas are to obtain their own ​flight tickets and booked ​their own ​accommodation during the course ​of the workshop.
